some nights, running all over the place can be a little tiring. you feel like you don’t get to spend enough time taking in an event, or seeing your friends, or just cooling out. this first friday, i popped into the rock shop at the loft, caught up with my homies jim and jon from b-ware X DORK glasses, hopped over to the pohl gallery to check out some dope ass handmade sake cups, ate at little village with my favorite bouncer (LOL), caught the deadbeats rocking a set at the loft, hit up nextdoor to catch eskae, DJ deception, and jim browskee spinning, hopped into 39hotel and bar35 to check out the steez (the stee-lo for the night was “packed” and “sweaty,” if you’re wondering), and caught a lingerie show by lorrnie louie at nextdoor. oh and i managed to pack a handful of drinks and friends into that mix somehow. damn, i feel tired after writing out what i did for the night.

at times i wish i could just sit back, drink, and be another one of the people in the crowd instead of hopping everywhere and seeing a whole bunch of dope stuff in one night. then i realize how much fun the stuff i get to do is. and i know i’ll be back at it next week.
