on thursday night, jessica hoffman and blaine ashley hosted a rooftop party/fashion show on the roof of the parc hotel in waikiki. called april flowers, this show featured blaine ashley’s spring line. there were hors de ourves catered by nobu, my man eskae on the 1s and 2s, and an overall good vibe.
also on hand were my clients/friends from hawaii red magazine, on hand to interview dan weaver, christa wittimier, and i for an upcoming red live segment. i wasn’t sure what to expect but was blown away when their film crew arrived with a big red one on hand to shoot the spot. serrrriiiousssslllyyy legit stuff, ya’ll…can’t wait to see the finished product.
a few random peeps were there and i was super stoked to run into them. forreals. i snapped a few flicks of the fashion show (which was great, i was really digging a few of the pieces on display), had a few vodka tonics, and caught up with a few folks.
i popped into the afterparty at nobu (which was jumping off, btw), and headed out to my next engagement…it was a cool show, definitely upscale in contrast to my usual stomping grounds, and the change was nice.
