this past weekend, i was in lanai on assignment. i was there to shoot a story about a perfume maker at the four seasons manele bay. after the shoot was over, i had a chance to cool it on out with a few of my favorite people, and enjoy all that a five-star resort destination has to offer. sometimes, life is so unfair.

while i can’t show you the images from the shoot (yet), i did have a chance to cruise through lanai city, and before heading back to the hotel for dinner, i stopped in at the pastures by ko`ele lodge in upcountry lanai. the sun was setting, low-flying clouds were overhead, and it all came together at once. this is yet another high dynamic range photo, and probably my favorite wallpaper this year. enjoy.
