so, as previously mentioned on honozooloo, airspace workshop and i joined forces to put together an installation at the honolulu academy of the arts during the june edition of art after dark.
after much sweat, some stress, and a lot of work, 2059 fleshed itself out as a pretty rad collection of pieces displayed in recycled lightbox structures. the night went well and i was super stoked to have done some work with josh and chris….both of them are really good dudes and this was a great, challenging little creative exercise.
on a side note, how sick was mark chai’s moon installation? it was also mounted on some recycled material, namely a 12 foot+ carbon fiber racing sailboat fin. crazy.
i ended up getting fed more wine than is recommended by the surgeon general so pictures from the night are somewhat sparse…but here for your enjoyment are a few pieces from art after dark.
