two weeks ago i was hired to shoot a special musicians’ tribute to michael jackson at gordon biersch.  deshannon higa and a cadre of the island’s best jazz musicians, dancers, and vocalists joined forces for a night of classic MJ covers, memories, and fun.  the music as better than great, the BBQ chipotle chicken sandwiches were great, the setting was perfect, and everyone had a blast.

i saw a few old friends i haven’t seen in a while and got to witness and shoot an amazing show. sometimes its hard being a photographer with gigs every other day….but not often, and definitely not that wednesday.
