a few weeks ago the sons & daughters of the 442nd regimental combat team opened a new installation of memorabilia at the main branch of central pacfic bank.  this is the second 442nd exhibit at CPB, and this one was dedicated to the 442nd’s rescue mission to save the “lost battalion” in biffontaine in 1944.  i snapped a few photos, and hung out with the vets for a while.

it was an amazing chance to interact with a living part of history.
